1. Information We Collect
EAU collects only the information you choose to provide:
Name — the name you enter during profile setup
City — the city you enter manually in your profile
Daily water intake — the hydration amounts you log each day
We do not create accounts, and we do not collect your email address, phone number, or any identifying credentials.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your name, city, and daily water intake are used solely to:
Display your progress on a community hydration leaderboard
Compare your intake with other users in your city
Your data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage
Your profile and hydration history are stored locally on your device
Your name, city, and daily intake are also sent to and stored in Supabase (a third-party database infrastructure provider) to power the leaderboard feature
Supabase processes this data on our behalf and does not use it for any independent purpose. You can view Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy
4. Data We Do Not Collect
EAU does not collect:
Email addresses or passwords
Precise GPS or device location
Camera, microphone, or photo data
Payment or financial information
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Health data via Apple HealthKit
5. Your Rights
You can delete all locally stored data at any time from App Settings → Clear All Data.
To request deletion of your server-side leaderboard data, email eau.app@icloud.com and we will remove it promptly.
6. Children's Privacy
EAU is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at https://www.eauapp.io/ with an updated effective date.
